There will be no monthly Hotel Workers Branch Meeting in August. Instead will be joining forces with our fellow hospitality workers in the Unite Restaurant and Bar Staff Branch and holding a Living Wage Picnic on Friday 8th August at Potter's Field beyond the Mayor's Office at City Hall. We will be using this event to highlight the scandal of low pay in one of London's most profitable sectors. We will be making the voice of hospitality workers heard for once - but we will be having fun at the same time.
We are your union - we are your voice. Don't be afraid to come and talk to us - we're friendly and helpful. We are available every Monday between 2pm and 4pm without appointment in the canteen at the Union office, Unite House, 128 Theobalds Road, Holborn, London WWC1 X 8TN. Come and have a coffee and a chat. If you have a problem at work we'll see what we can do to help. If you want to find out more about joining the union we're here to answer your questions. Alternatively come to our Living Wage picnic on 8th August (see above for details).
Hotel Workers Branch meeting Monday 7th July 2014 - 5pm to 6.30pm - includes reports on current actions and campaigns in London Hotels and calls for volunteers for upcoming actions as well as updates on your rights at work.
